- The Southern Christian Leadership Conference (SCLC) is a civil rights organization, founded in 1957 following the Montgomery Bus Boycott victory in Alabama. The first president of SCLC was Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. (1929-1968).

- Two typed and mimeographed Southern Christian Leadership Conference (SCLC) internship reports by two African American students from Macalester College, St. Paul, Minnesota. Ella Bey's report is titled An Experience in Georgia with the Southern Christian Leadership Conference (SCLC) and Joan Johnson's report is titled My Experiences With The Southern Christian Leadership Conference. Both stayed with host and SCLC activist Hosea Williams (1926-2000) during their work with SCLC in Georgia.
