- Autograph letter from D.H. Beardsley to attorney John Gardner, of York, Pennsylvania, 1815. In the letter Beardsley explains that he purchased Coke on Littleton for Merrill (James Merrill, 1790-1841) and now Merrill does not want it, so he is offering to sell it to Gardner.
