Summary:
Flemish illuminated book of hours with the Hours of the Cross, the Hours of the Holy Spirit, and Mass of the Virgin preceding the Hours of the Virgin titled as Use of Rome (f. 37v). The calendar at the beginning of the volume (f. 1r-12v) includes feasts associated with Bruges (Basil, 14 June; Donatian, 14 October) and Flanders (Aldegund, 30 January; Amand, 6 February; Eligius, 25 June (translation) and 1 December; Lambert, 17 September). Full-page miniatures on the versos of inserted leaves precede major text divisions (f. 13v, 20v, 37v, 87v, 98v, 112v). The saints in the accessory prayers (f. 87v-94v) are Gregory the Great, John the Baptist, Peter and Paul, Sebastian, Christopher, Catherine of Alexandria, and Barbara.
