"This book contains stories by Sasson Guetta, about childhood in Jaffa, about the experiences of his mother's family as a Holocaust survivor, and especially about demanding military service, including participation in the Yom Kippur War. Sasson Guetta grew up in Jaffa, in a family of eight. His parents immigrated from Benghazi in Libya immediately after the establishment of the state. His father was an educated man who founded a Hebrew school where all subjects were taught in Hebrew. In high school, Sasson studied at Ort Singalovsky, majoring in electronics. In the army, he was a liaison officer in a combat unit and participated in the Yom Kippur War. The war experiences were a catalyst for writing the stories that appear in this book. During his reserve service, Sasson served as a director of training films for air crews in the Air Force. Sasson graduated from Bezalel with a degree in visual communication, specializing in film production. In the 1990s, he was exposed to the world of high tech and integrated into it by branding entrepreneurs and companies. Over the years, he has branded over a thousand technology companies, leading to IPOs, fundraisings and exits. ספר זה מכיל סיפורים של ששון גואטה, על ילדות ביפו, על קורות משפחת אימו כשורדת שואה, ובעיקר על שירות צבאי תובעני, כולל השתתפות במלחמת יום הכיפורים. ששון גואטה גדל ביפו, במשפחה בת שמונה נפשות. הוריו עלו מבנגאזי שבלוב מייד עם קום המדינה. אביו היה איש משכיל שהקים בית ספר עברי בו כל המקצועות נלמדו בעברית. בתיכון למד ששון באורט סינגאלובסקי, במגמת אלקטרוניקה. בצבא היה קצין קשר ביחידה לוחמת והשתתף במלחמת יום הכיפורים. חוויות המלחמה היוו זרז לכתיבת הסיפורים המופיעים בספר זה. בשירות המילואים שימש ששון כבמאי של סרטי הדרכה לצוותי אוויר בחיל האוויר. ששון בוגר בצלאל במגמה לתקשורת חזותית, עם התמחות בהפקת סרטים. בשנות התשעים נחשף לעולם ההיי-טק והשתלב בו במיתוג יזמים וחברות. במהלך השנים מותגו על ידו למעלה מאלף חברות טכנולוגיות, לקראת יצירת הנפקות, גיוסים ואקזיטים. ששון הוא אב לשלושה בוגרים וסב לשלוש נכדות ולנכד.-- Back cover.
