Summary:

Chosen (Custody of the Eyes) is a collaborative documentary from the perspective of a former blogger and painter confronting what she believes is her calling: Becoming a cloistered contemplative nun in one of the strictest religious orders. At the Corpus Christi Monastery in Rockford, Illinois, she will live in a fourteen-acre enclosure and observe monastic silence. Before she makes final vows, her superiors allowed her to turn the video camera on herself and share her reflections, as well as film her new world as she encountered it. (The novice had never entered certain places in the monastery but was given an exception when she was allowed to film.)
