- In his masterful arrangement of <i>Piazzolla's Las cuatro estaciones portenas</i>, the Russian composer <i>Leonid Desyatnikov</i> reimagines Piazzolla's music in a concerto style for solo violin and string orchestra, in combination with elements inspired by <i>Vivaldi's Four Seasons</i>. The Estaciones are a respectful nod to Vivaldi. Vivaldian traces can be heard in the music, most obviously in the closing bars of <i>Invierno Porteno</i>.
