- In 1935 occurred the 150th anniversary of the Society, for which a historical sketch was prepared by Rodney H. True under title: Sketch of the history of the Philadelphia society for promoting agriculture. A reprint of this sketch and of other pamphlets prepared for the anniversary, together with items taken from the society's printed and manuscript collections, form the material of v.6 of the Memoirs, published in 1939 (v.6 is without series t.p., the title appearing only in publisher's lettering; title page reads: Sketch of the history, etc.). Other unpublished material in the possession of the society may be published later; cf. v.6, Foreword and Preface.
