- Summary:
- History, as it has been told up to now, gives pride of place to the battlefield for the Gallic warriors. But when they were not in combat, how did these warriors live their daily lives, such as with their families and friends? Until recently, we really knew very little about their domestic lives. Today, by unearthing the houses and discarded debris of these people, archaeology is able to provide us with answers to this question and to allow us to better understand what families looked like in the Gallic era.
