Summary:
In October of 2015, director Zacharkias Kunuk traveled to Arviat, one of the southernmost communities in Nunavut, located along the western coast of Hudson Bay. The area is known for its incredibly large herds of caribou. Zach goes out hunting with Arviat elder Peter Suwaksiork (1938-2016) and Peter's son, searching for and then finding a caribou herd. Along the way, Peter recounts many stories-about shamanism, about traditional life, about the start of mining in Nunavut territory, and about the other changes he has seen over the course of his long lifetime.
