- This film presents a 40 year chronicle of research by Smithsonian scientists, whose work uncovered one of America's most surprising anthropological mysteries: the story of the early ocean-adapted, Native American civilization that once existed along the now submerged Atlantic coastlines of North America, going back to the last Ice Age.
