- Five items: 1) A detailed inventory, part of Levy's will which lists 24 deeds for property in New York City acquired by Levy during 1833-1853 (1863). 2) Original water bill for his properties from Croton Aqueduct Department for $365.00 (1861). 3) Original tax bill on his properties in the sum of $1199.65 (1862). 4) Letter referring to $8516.55 owed to Asahel S. Levy (Levy's favorite nephew), trustee and executor of Levy's will for his services (1866). 5) Letter in Levy's own hand asking that no further complaints be made against him without cause by fellow officers and saying that he would not hesitate to promise to promote a better feeling 'nor permit their indecent expressions of bad temper to put me in the wrong.'
