- Biography/History:
- Sanket Goel is a Professor with the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering. Professor Goel has published >350 scientific articles and has 60+ patents (including 12 granted) in the domains of microfluidics, biosensors, nanoelectronics, fuel cells, smart sensors, MEMS, solar energy, wearable devices and cyber-physical systems. Professor Goel is a Fulbright and JSPS fellow, Distinguished Lecturer of the IEEE Sensors Council and is on the editorial board of numerous journals. Sohan Dudala completed his doctoral degree from the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, BITS Pilani, Hyderabad Campus, in the field of Bio-MEMS and microfluidics. Sohan bears wide exposure to interdisciplinary technology development with his previous work in the fields of metal oxides nanostructure coatings; microfluidic water and soil assessment systems; microfluidic cell culture; PCR diagnostic devices; and point-of-care diagnostics. His current research interests include bio-microfluidics, Bio-MEMS and wireless communication.
