- Summary:
- "The dataset is designed for teaching and learning thematic and event analysis of migration trajectories through data produced in visual elicitation interviews. The example takes a specific theoretical lens--Henri Lefebvre's rhythmanalysis--in order to examine the ways in which migrants' trajectories unfold along series of events and bundles of emotions. The visual data comprises participants' own drawings of their migration trajectories under the symbol of the "River of Life." Used to stir reflection, drawings were made prior to the interview and discussed during the online interview. The textual data represents the transcripts of the related participant/researcher conversation, i.e., the elicitation. The data is provided by Dr Adriana Mihaela Soaita, University of Glasgow, and it is drawn from 20 interviews with Romanian migrants in the UK that she conducted online in 2022. The dataset file is accompanied by a teaching guide and a student guide"-- Provided by publisher
