- Summary:
- In mid-1990s New York City, high school best friends Patti, Angela, Emma, and Nikki dream of their futures while navigating the challenges of adolescence. Their bond is unshakable until Nikki, after being sexually assaulted, unexpectedly takes her own life. Grieving and angry, the remaining three must find a way to move forward while confronting painful truths about the world around them. As they support each other through trauma and personal struggles, they come of age with a deeper understanding of friendship, loss, and resilience.
