- Colophon reads: William Morris first published this poem in 1891 in a collection of his work entitled "Poems by the Way" having written it after visits to Iceland in 1871 and 1873. This edition of 100 copies is hand set with Dante ... The handmade paper is white Wilcox ... made at Wookey Hole Mill. The cover is Fabriano Ingres. The illustration, either of an imaginary icelandic scene or self portrait, is printed on Japanese mulberry paper. Finished this 14th day of July 1992 at the Woodcraft Press, Tonbridge to mark my departure for Iceland with the British Schools Exploring Society.
