Two clearances from the port of Manila, Philippines, for John Haskell's brig Duxbury. Both are in Spanish, one dated 9 November 1824, signed Juan Antonio Martinez. Both mention Batavia; one lists the Duxbury's officers: Haskell, Nevell, [illegible], Jordan, and eight sailors.

John Haskell was a native of Gloucester, Massachusetts, the son of John and Polly (Goodhue) Haskell. He was a captain of ships involved in commerce with China and the East Indies. Haskell died at sea while returning from India.
