Draft and finished copy of diary documenting Stickney's voyage from Newburyport, Massachusetts, to San Francisco, California, via Cape Horn aboard the ship Annah (December 1849 - May 1850). Includes a certificate (1836) appointing Stickney to the office of postmaster at East Haverhill, Essex County, Massachusetts.
