Summary:

Artist book and small press edition of 3 poems by exiled poet Gastón Baquero; with partly handcolored collages and 1 pop-up element, drawings of bricks that look like books on endpapers, a door that opens to reveal the poet, half moons, arcs, etc.; textured paperboard covers with mounted color collages; the Vigía lantern is on back cover and colophon with its flame reflected by the lit candles hovering above the books/bricks in defiance of the poet's fear. Issued in portfolio in the shape of a house with tiled roof and balcony which both fold back to allow opening the panels and reveal the artist's book in pocket. Another Vigía lantern plus publishing information is on back of portfolio.
