Summary:
La Santita is an opening of cosmopoetic worlds in which the boundaries between body and spirit, culture and nature, feminine and masculine, the playful and the rational, science and magic fade. In seven stories, the author organizes universes in which mangroves, chickens, volcanic rocks, ashes, Obi-Wan Kenobi or Crystal meet and weave links that put into play the existence of other realities (not necessarily Western) that escape the limits of time and space and life and death. Inspired by the cosmologies of the Andean world and its deep violence, Moscoso works magic with words, invents rhythms and brings references to popular culture alongside other ancestral pop culture. We are, perhaps, facing a literature of the end of the world.
