- The edition dedicated to architect Jorge Kálnay is the first publication of the Faculty of Art and Architecture of the Universidad del Salvador in co-edition with the Centro de Documentación de Arquitectura Latinoamericana -CEDODAL-, and is part of the "Serie Blanca" of monographic publications published by CEDODAL since 1999. The brothers Kálnay (Andrés y Jorge) addressed, first together and then by separate paths, innovative architectural proposals in technologies and themes. This book highlights the importance of the transition process of the 20s and 30s in the architecture of Argentina in the 20th century and the development of new urban and typological problems through the work of Jorge Kálnay and his proposals, analyzing his works made in rental and individual houses, country houses, cinemas and theaters, markets, sports buildings (Luna Park), equipment and designs of urban and semi-rural subdivisions, including his ideas and social and cultural actions.
