This volume contains the lectures given by Klaus Geppert, Ralf Krack and Günter Jakobs at the colloquium on April 25, 2009 and is supplemented by contributions that former and current Göttingen colleagues from Fritz Loos wrote in his honor. The individual essays attempt to cover part of the anniversary's main areas of work with the general topics of fundamental questions of criminal law, legal philosophy and the (infinite) reform of legal training. With the conference proceedings, the editors pursue the goal of paying tribute to the teacher and scientist Fritz Loos in as many facets as possible and to thanking his academic students for the support that he has given us.
