- The book comprises a "a selection of Marcelo Expósito's writings on art, activism and politics produced between 2009 and 2023, that is, during a time span that spans from the first effects of the global burst of the financial bubble to the impact of the global health crisis. These are specialized essays, informative critiques or oral interventions given in academic centers, museum institutions, independent spaces, political assemblies and parliamentary headquarters. With a prologue by Nelly Richard, these materials, which have been conceived between numerous cities, territories and countries in Latin America and Europe, make up a constellation of themes that includes the European historical avant-gardes; Latin American art and activism practices; anti-neoliberal artistic movements and activism; international citizen emergencies around 2011, including the leap from indignant squares to state institutions; the role of memorialism in the struggles for democratic radicalization; and, finally, the uncertainties that haunt us and the hopes that sustain us after the pandemic and as a consequence of the current global systemic crisis.".
