- Summary:
- Linda Kohen (Milán, 1924) lived in Buenos Aires and São Paulo, and in 1940 her family settled in Uruguay, where Linda began her artistic career. She studied drawing with Pierre Fossay and painting at the Taller Torres Garcia with Augusto Torres, José Gurvich and Julio Alpuy. This catalogue of her retrospective reviews Kohen's artistic career through her drawings (models, portraits, bodies). "Drawing has been for her a way of thinking and weighing life: her own and that of others, including loved ones, but also strangers, the anonymous masses, animals and the natural environment." --Page 156.
