Comprises notes on some of the salient events in mainly English history from Ethelred to Queen Anne, extracted from a translation of Voltaire's writings, with notes on China and Charlemagne's time on f. 1, followed on ff. 16-17 by similar notes extracted from Hume's writings on some selected events from Richard III's days to those of James II

The compiler of these extracts is unknown. Probably written in a single hand. Ff.1v, 9v-11v, and 19v-91 are blank, and ff.18r-19r have only a ruled line drawn on them. On f.1r there is a note in blue pencil which reads 'Destroy'
