Written by a single hand. Ff.78-90 are blank. On the inside front cover there is a bookplate with a printed coat of arms and the words 'E LIBRIS ROBERTI MARCHIONIS DE CREWE' and the name 'Michael Phillips' written in pencil in a modern hand below it. On f.78v there is a pencilled drawing of a lady wearing a long dress and high heels and holding what appears to be a small lamp or goblet
