Summary:
Commonplace book, almost entirely of English verse and prose. Most poems are anonymous. Some prose tales, scenes from plays, and a few Latin lines. On p.211: "I ended this book Novr 13th 1723"; prose follows, apparently from "John Engelbracht of Brunswick", 'Vision of Heaven and Hell', and a prayer. There are some medical and other marginalia, some dated 1733, 1740-48
