- Of architect Mario Alberto Ribera Parada (Santa Cruz de la Sierra, Bolivia 1935-2021) little was known about his production in artistic drawing. Reencuentro, is a book that the architect Ribera was about to finish but he died in 2021. His widow María Cristina Peredo and his sons Mario Alberto, Jorge Eduardo and José Carlos were in charge of concluding the work that rescues and makes public his artistic legacy. Graduated as an architect in Brazil, Mario Ribera continued his postgraduate studies in Madrid, where he came into contact with artistic events and even won first place in a painting and drawing competition in the Spanish capital. He also held an exhibition of his drawings in Stockholm (Sweden). After a prolific professional career of almost five decades as an architect, in 2015 he resumed drawing bequeathing a vast production of work described by the author as "improvisation, doodle, pleasure, search for beauty, play, concentration on the stroke, pleasure in softness or violence, decision in the face of doubt; risk-taking, self-confidence in action, and the confidence to reach harmony in the end".
