Summary:
Three decades after the death of Wálter Solón Romero Gonzáles (Uyuni, 1927 - Lima, 1999), this work compiles intimate - and some of them, unknown - passages from the life of this muralist from Potosí, an artistic bastion of Bolivia. The book is a work of Pablo Solón, son of the muralist, who collected a vast testimonial and informative information through interviews, recordings, documents, research and the memory of what was lived in the warmth of the home. This biography is a first-person narration and reveals intimate chapters of Solón's life, as well as some unexpected passages, revealing features of his life that many did not know, such as his various artistic facets: his performance as a violinist from his early childhood to youth, even being a participant in various orchestras in Bolivia and abroad, or his poetic writing already in maturity. The author is the director of the Fundación Solón.
