Summary:
The 7th Avenue Garden was created by David Horvitz and Terremoto. It is located on a vacant lot across from Horvitz's studio where a house had burned down in an old Japanese neighborhood where Horvitz spent his childhood. It consists of remnants of the demolished LACMA buildings, oyster and clam shells, a crow perch, sea urchins, stones, broken ceramics, Turkish fishing nets, bells, found mirrors, hundreds of native plant species, and structures built from fallen trees in Los Angeles for hosting performances. "Photographs by David Horvitz taken mostly in the summer of 2022 at night in The Garden, The Garden is located at 1911 7th Ave., Los Angeles, California 90018." --Last Page.
