- Summary:
- The Trilogía sobre la guitarra is a study in three parts on the guitar and its relationship with the fundamental elements of flamenco. In fact, the three works try to deconstruct the traditional features of the instrument, in order to discover the creative momentum that animates its playing. It is under the sign of authenticity, then, that Rocío Molina links every gesture of her body to the universality of the human experience: in Al fondo riela (Lo Otro del Uno), the dancer leads a reflection, through the choreographic elements, on the experience of subjectivity. She leads a true introspection in dance to discover the absolute strangeness that captures every man facing himself. The guitar duo composed by Yerai Cortés and Eduardo Trassierra becomes the sound image of this dialogue made of misunderstandings and equivocations. Since the Self and the Other, like the two guitarists, call and respond to each other, alternately bringing harmony and conflict.
