Summary:

Since its foundation, the Museo Cabañas (Guadalajara, Jalisco) is the custodian of an important collection of drawings, engravings and pyroxylines made by José Clemente Orozco (1883-1949), which was given on loan by the Instituto Nacional de Bellas Artes y Literatura (INBAL). Within this collection, a set of sketches or preliminary projects stands out -named "anteproyectos" by Orozco-for the murals he painted in Mexico and the United States between 1923 and 1947. The exhibition is articulated from a chronological display of the sketches that Orozco worked on for his most representative murals
