- An unknown injured macaque wandered into a temple in Ninghai County, Zhejiang Province. Abbess Bhiksuni Sunyata in the temple took pity and began caring for the macaque, naming it Xingxing. Over fifteen years of companionship, Xingxing transformed from being cold and hostile towards humans to a gentle macaque with warm eyes, all thanks to the abbess's influence. Even in their old age, she and Xingxing continue their heartwarming story.
