A reissue of the 1751 'printed for the propriators' edition, with a cancel titlepage, the verso of the fourth preliminary leaf reset, an additional preliminary leaf inserted after the fourth, and the text extended by the addition of 'St. Anselm's meditations' and 'Devout meditations of St. Bernard', pp.349-488.
The angel ornament is used in both the reissued part and the additional material, suggesting the same printer for both.
