The medicinal observations of Jodocus Lommius. In three books. The First contains the most accurate Description of the Symptoms, of such Diseases, as affect the whole Body. The Second the Symptoms, of such, as affect each distinct Part, from the Head to the Foot. The Third gives the Prognostics, or Presages of Life, and Death, in both acute, and chronical Diseases, as fully as Prosper Alpinus in his Twelve Books of Presages. The Whole is a most masterly Collection from the Greek, Arabian, and Latin Physicians, particularly Hippocrates, Galen, and Celsus Now rendered into English for the benefit of all such practitioners, as have not had the happiness of a liberal education.
