Summary:
Following a name change, Shopping News was rebranded in 1949 as Shopping. Published by Messers. Lencil Ltd in London, Shopping continued to show the post-war boom in spending. Richly visual full-page colour photographs and advertisements demonstrated a focus on feminine beauty, as well as an increasing number of articles about leisure pursuits and holidays. Shopping was renamed again in 1951 as Shopping Magazine.
