Summary:
Shopping Magazine, a continuation of Shopping, started in 1951 and was published by Lencil Ltd , London. Similarly to Shopping and its predecessor Shopping News, this magazine offered advice to a female audience about shopping, with guidance on purchasing the latest products from current trends at a bargain price: "[w]hatever is really good, honest value for the price asked - we'll show you in our pages". The post-war boom in sales is evident in articles within this publication, with an increased focus on hobbies and pursuits as well as fashion trends and beauty tips, and an emphasis on branding.
