- Parentheses substituted for square brackets in imprint.
- Pages [12-16] contain the first of several installments of the poem "America invincible," issued separately by Russell in 1779. The caption reads: "The following lines are extracted from an ingenious manuscript lodged in the hands of the publisher, entitled, America invincible, (for the printing of which see proposals in the last page)" (i.e., p. [23-24]). Further installments appeared in Russell's American almanack for 1780, 1781, and 1782, and Bickerstaff's Boston almanack for 1782 and 1783 (Russell).
