Notes:
Vol. 1 is a translation of 'L'Esploratore turco ..' by Giovanni Paolo Marana, originally published in Paris in 1684; subsequent volumes have been variously attributed, but were probably edited by Robert Midgley from William Bradshaw's translation of the original Italian MS.
Vol. 1 has a divisional titlepage with edition statement: "The seventh edition"; vols. 2-4 and 7 have the edition statement "The fifth edition"; vols. 5-6 and 8 do not have edition statements.
All volumes are dated 1702 except vols. 3-4 and 6 which are dated 1703.
Vol. 2 has imprint "printed for Henry Rodes [sic]; and Richard Sare"; vols. 3-4 "for H. Rhodes: and Rich. Sare"; vols. 5-6 and 8 "for Henry Rhodes, and Richard Sare"; and vol. 7 "for H. Rodes [sic]; and Rich. Sare".
