Summary:
"The 86-minute show, narrated by Leopoldo Montoya, details the amazing career of Bean who designed hundreds of buildings in Bucks and Montgomery counties during a 40-year career beginning in the 1880s. Unlike many of his contemporaries, Bean's work went largely unnoticed during his lifetime. It was not until Montoya, a Wyncote resident, began researching the architect's accomplishments more than 12 years ago. This fascinating show features more than 100 images of Bean-designed buildings, some long gone. Others still grace our landscape and some retain the classic Victorian turrets, dormers and wraparound porches that were his trademark"--Lansdale Historical Society.
