Volume 2: Shiurim Predigten Vortraege [bound collection of handwritten and typed sermons, 1934-1938].

Lectures were dated by fascicle, and sermons were individually dated (and irregularly placed); includes weekly Sedra sermons, Bar mitzva sermons, funerary sermons and eulogies; a sermon delivered on the theme of Amalek for Parashat Zakhor (written on 3 December 1933), titled "Ansprache zum Volkstrauertag 1933" contains allusions to the gaining power of the National Socialist (Nazi) party in Germany; talks and sermons delivered in the Bloch household in Öhringen; a talk on 13 October 1934 on legends of the Babylonian Empire, the Hanging Gardens, and Tower of Babel, and wars and kings in the Bible; a lecture on the generation of the Aramaic Targums, called "Bibelübersetzungen"; another lecture on Biblical histories, delivered in Stuttgart, May 5, 1934; and explorations into the Mahzor, Selihot, and the Kinnot.
