George Germain confirms that the Spanish have not attacked Pensacola perhaps due to their armada being caught in a hurricane, the same one that Peter Parker's ships endured and so he feels he cannot send reinforcements to John Campbell; Germain sends further intelligence emphasising the continued Spanish designs upon Pensacola : Correspondence 1781/03/07-1781/04/12.
