From the Colton Storm catalogue: "Walker and Gillespie, both Texas Rangers, were killed fighting in Mexico. Gillespie died in Monterrey in 1846 and Walker at Huamantla, Tlaxcala. Walker was the man who helped Samuel Colt develop the "Walker Colt"."
