新中国成立前,中国共产党的办报实践从城市转向农村,又从农村走向城市.在此过程中,地理环境成为区隔中国共产党办报实践的主要因素,由此形成了1921年至1927年间"报为机关,凝聚党派"的上海模式,1928年至1937年间"报为工具,指导工作"的瑞金模式,1938年至1949年间"党性与人民性相统一"的重庆模式和"增强党性,联系群众"的延安模式.通过对以上模式的符号化描述发现,新中国成立前中国共产党办报模式的演进轨迹基本是以"党报姓党"为中心线,以"城市办报"和"农村办报"为两极上下波动,主要不是在继承的基础上线性发展,而是一种"否定之否定"的振荡过程.
