- Summary:
- This volume contains 124 recipes written and compiled by F. Porst over the course of a housekeeping course at St. Joseph’s Boarding School in Lutterade, Netherlands in the early 20th century. The recipes are written in German, which was taught in schools in the region until around the 20th century. The recipes in this volume are organized into sections including suppen (p. 1-8), gemüse (p. 25-32), fleischspeisen (p. 57-73), süsse speisen (p. 91-101), backwerk (p. 123-146), eingemachtes (p. 161-165). There are a significant number of blank pages between the sections (p. 9-24, 33-56, 74-90, 102-122, 147-160, 166-198, 209-218).
