Este libro es un exhaustivo análisis de un sector de la necrópolis de la ciudad ibérica de Alon y la posteriormente romana Allone (La Vila Joiosa, Alacant). Los rituales y prácticas funerarias se estudian a través de 108 tumbas y 9 depósitos qué cubren más de mil anos de la historia antigua de la región. Este excepcional documento material permite analizar la configuración del espacio funerario y la construcción de la memoria a través de la vinculación de la sociedad de los vivos con sus ancestros. SUMMARY The present book is an exhaustive analysis of a particular sector of the necropolis located at the Iberian city of Alon and the later Roman Allone (La Vila Joiosa, Alacant). Rituals and funerary practices are studied through 108 tombs and 9 deposits covering more than a thousand years of the ancient history of the region. This exceptional material document allows us to analyse the configuration of the funerary space and the construction of memory through the link between the society of the living and their ancestors.
