Summary:
Colombian photographer Juan Orrantia graphically documents a town in the Santa Marta Sierra of Colombia that, in a way, stands in for all these small vulnerable communities facing a similar fate where the drug cartels or the guerrillas are the law. The photographic images focus on everyday life -where women play a central role-, but while these scenes are recognizable, they also give a hint at the town's recent history under the despotic rule of drug trafficking gangs "Nothing happened here without his permission. Neither coca, war or life". The book is dedicated to those "who saw it all".
