- Summary:
- Stéphane Kerecki is a project leader as much as double bassist. Far from petty stylistic quarrels, he puts the repertoire into an acoustic context (with few tricks except for some effects with a Fender Rhodes), where the breathing and expressiveness are purely jazz. The bluish light that surrounds the stage fits well with this music of melancholic climates and sci-fi atmospheres. French Touch is a fascinating project where Julien Lourau (who replaces Emile Parisien), Jozef Dumoulin (keyboards), Fabrice Moreau (drums) and the leader take jazzophiles to new lands with no borders.
