If someone had told the young Jeremy Underground about fifteen years ago that he would one day mix in front of thousands of people alongside Kerri "Kaoz" Chandler, a true deep house legend, he certainly wouldn’t have believed it! Indeed, the Parisian-born DJ, born in 1986, was a passionate crate digger at the time, running record stores, flea markets and websites in search of the gems of American 90s house. It was then by organizing his parties, bringing this somewhat neglected music up to date, and founding his label My Love Is Underground, that he became an essential figure of the house scene in France, known for his sharp and shrewd selections. Ask Jeremy for his favourite artists, and Kerri Chandler’s name will get mentioned in no time. Indeed, when we talk about deep house, we never fail to mention this DJ, composer and producer who has injected soul, funk and jazz sounds into his music since the early 90s, offering countless soulful nuggets in the process.
