The "reprint" of the Fortsas catalog is actually a translation of the text (the title page and preliminaries are not included) of Renier Hubert Ghislain Chalon's anonymously written Catalogue d'une très-riche mais peu nombreuse collection de livres provenant de la bibliothèque de feu Mr le comte J.N.A. de Fortsas, which catalog of the imaginary collection of a fictitious count was published in 1840.
