- The manuscript was used by Elizabeth Hare on her marriage to Woolley Leigh in 1639 as an account book; later she makes an inventory as a widow, returning to her parents in Norfolk, 1649; after that she records her accounts as Lady Lowther in Westmorland, 1656. The later inventories and accounts by Margaret Frank are dated from 1728-1737.
